Fireworks Are Prohibited

With the July 4th holiday rapidly approaching, the Red Oak Police Department would like to remind all residents that the possession and discharging of fireworks within the City limits of Red Oak is illegal. While we are prepared to enforce the ban, we are asking the public to voluntarily comply with the law to help lower the fire risk. The maximum fine for this offense is $2,000 per City Ordinances 98-08 and 08-31.
We also ask that you do not call 9-1-1 to report firework violations but call the non-emergency number at 972-775-3333 to report any violations.
