The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a
* Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Central Macon County in north central Missouri...
* Until 315 AM CDT Friday
* At 911 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and heavy rain is expected to continue for the next few hours.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Macon, Bevier, Atlanta, Callao, New Cambria, Elmer and Ethel.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MACON
Instructions:
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
