Northeastern Saline County in central Missouri... Eastern Macon County in north central Missouri... Southern Livingston County in north central Missouri...
* Until 200 AM CDT Saturday
* At 158 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in numerous locations. 6 to 10 inches of rain have fallen with locally higher amounts.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Moberly, Chillicothe, Macon, Salisbury, Huntsville, Brunswick, Bevier, Higbee, Keytesville, Hale, Atlanta, Breckenridge, Bosworth, Clark, Cairo, Armstrong, Utica, Renick, Mendon and Bogard. Additional rainfall amounts of an inch are possible in the warned area.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LIVINGSTON ... MACON
Instructions:
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
