Fireworks at approximately 9:20 pm.
Parking Advisory:
- All Streets south of Lewis Street will CLOSE at 6:00 pm
- Residents who live south of Lewis Street will have to provide proof of address for access to local streets. Guests of residents will not be able to drive or park their vehicles on these closed streets.
- Free meter parking after 5:00 pm in the downtown district and public parking lots
Traffic Advisory:
- High Street from Smith Street to Sadowski Parkway will be open only to neighborhood residents with proof of address after 6:00 pm
- All traffic south of Lewis Street will be closed to the public
- Sadowski Parkway (Both Sides) and Water Street (East Side), Lewis Street to the Raritan Bay Yacht Club, and Water Street Both Sides from High Street to Lewis Street will be posted as NO PARKING
- Lewis Street will be One Way going West from High Street to Second Street; only open to local traffic
- Paterson Street will be One Way going East from Second Street to State Street; only open to local traffic
- Sadowski Parkway will be closed at 3:00 pm west of High Street to Brighton Avenue
Safety Advisory:
- No public drinking, no swimming, no fishing and no parking where signs are posted. You will be ticketed and towed.
- State Law prohibits the use of personal fireworks
- Pets are strongly discouraged from being present during the fireworks performance. This is for both their safety and the safety of the general public.
- Fishing on piers will be closed at 6:00 pm on July 3rd and reopened at midnight.
