ISOLATED STRONG STORMS TONIGHT IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN
There could be an isolated strong storm in upper Michigan tonight. But the main time to focus on for the potential of severe weather will be Thursday afternoon and evening as a cold front moves through the area. The main severe weather threats will be damaging winds and large hail. Locally heavy rain is also possible. There is still lots of uncertainty in this forecast. But the potential is there for severe weather, so stay tuned as we continue to refine the forecast. Cooler and less humid weather behind the front for Friday into the weekend.
