Fairview Police Dept has taken 4 reports for stolen vehicles this week. Report suspicious activity to police.

The Fairview Police Department has taken reports for four (4) stolen vehicle during the past week. ***Special attention Kia and Hyundai owners*** It may a coincidence, but three (3) of the four (4) vehicles stolen have been of these makes.
Residents are asked to contact the Fairview Police main desk, (201) 943-2100 if you witness any suspicious individuals or activity. There has also been reports of vandalism and vehicle burglaries where residents are leaving their vehicle doors unlocked. Personal belongings have been reported taken due to the unlocked doors. Unlocked doors are a crime of opportunity for thieves.
Fairview residents are reminded that with summer upon us and vacation plans made we offer residents home checks. Please come into the police station and register your vacant home. Go on vacation knowing that we are out there making every effort to protect your property.
