Chemical Endangerment Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden woman has been arrested for chemical endangerment of a child, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Tiffany Lashea Bell, 38, of Gadsden, was arrested on Saturday, July 2nd, and charged with chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are ingested, produced or distributed, which is a felony,” investigator Brandi Fuller said. She also faces an unlawful possession of a controlled substance charge.
Bell admitted to a smoking synthetic drug while pregnant.
She was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on a 10,000 cash bond for the chemical endangerment warrant and a $1,500 bond for the unlawful possession. As a condition of her bond, Bell must successfully complete a drug treatment program and will be supervised by Etowah County Community Corrections upon release. A hold has also been placed against her for an out-of-state agency.
