06/24/17 WTPD arrested Michael Ayers, age 37, of Washington, NJ for aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. The WTPD Detective Bureau was assisted in the investigation by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office (Special Victims Unit). Mr. Ayers was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
06/26/17 WTPD arrested Robert Matthews, age 37, of Washington, NJ for a $200.00 outstanding warrant out of Newark and an NCIC wanted person out of the Essex County Sheriff’s Department. Mr. Matthews was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
06/26/17 WTPD arrested Shane Ultimo, age 21, of Hackettstown, NJ for being an NCIC wanted person out of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and outstanding warrants totaling $2000.00 out of Mansfield Township. On 06/26/17 at approximately 8:29 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31 S. in Washington Township. The officer’s investigation revealed that one of the vehicle’s passengers, Mr. Ultimo, was a NCIC wanted person and he had outstanding warrants. Mr. Ultimo was taken into custody without incident. He was processed and turned over to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
06/26/17 WTPD arrested Mark Reiser, age 32, of Hackettstown, NJ for an outstanding $350.00 warrant out of Toms River. On 06/26/17 at approximately 11:08 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township. The officer’s investigation revealed that the vehicle’s driver, Mr. Reiser, had an outstanding warrant. Mr. Reiser was taken into custody without incident. He was processed and issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding and driving with a suspended license. Mr. Reiser released with a new court date.
06/27/17 WTPD arrested Matthew Krzysik, age 25, of Oakland, NJ for possession of CDS (marijuana) with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS (marijuana) more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. On 06/27/17 at approximately 8:30 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on E. Washington Ave. in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Krzysik’s arrest for possession of CDS (marijuana) with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS (marijuana) more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of CDS (marijuana) less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses for tailgating, careless driving and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. Mr. Krzysik was released with a mandatory court date.
06/29/17 WTPD arrested Miranda Lauton, age 21, of Washington, NJ, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). On 06/29/17 at approximately 2:25 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on S. Lincoln Ave in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation resulted in the driver, Ms. Lauton’s, arrest for (DWI). She had a BAC of .20%. Ms. Lauton was charged with making an improper U-turn, being an unlicensed driver, careless driving and (DWI). She was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
06/30/17 WTPD arrested Craig Harrow, age 41, of Washington, NJ for an outstanding $75.00 warrant out of Washington Borough. On 06/30/17 at approximately 1:03 AM, patrol checked a suspicious person in the 1st block of Youmans Ave. in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation revealed that Mr. Harrow had an outstanding warrant. Mr. Harrow was taken into custody without incident, processed and released with a new court date.
07/03/17 WTPD arrested Donald Shwaga, age 40, of Hackettstown, NJ for a $300.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Mr. Shwaga was processed and released with a new court date.
07/04/17 WTPD arrested Frank Schumacher, age 29, of Washington, NJ for simple assault and harassment. Mr. Schumacher was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
07/05/17 WTPD arrested Mark Godfrey, age 56, of Washington, NJ for a $100.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Mr. Godfrey was processed and released after posting bail.
07/06/17 WTPD arrested Michael Sorrentino, age 21, Hector Iglesias, age 20, and Benjamin Scheffer, age 19, all of Washington, NJ. On 07/06/17 at approximately 8:31 PM, patrol checked a suspicious motor vehicle in the Pohatcong Creek Natural Park, located on Mine Hill Rd. in Washington Township. The officer’s investigation resulted in the trio’s arrest. Mr. Scheffer was processed and charged with a local ordinance of possession of an alcoholic beverage in a Township Park and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Mr. Sorrentino was processed and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a local ordinance of possession of an alcoholic beverage in a Township Park and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Both Mr. Scheffer and Mr. Sorrentino were released with mandatory court dates. Mr. Iglesias was processed and charged with possession of CDS (heroin), possession of CDS (marijuana) under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, a local ordinance of possession of an alcoholic beverage in a Township Park and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. Mr. Iglesias was lodged in the WC Jail.
07/07/17 WTPD arrested Heather Chaves, age 33, of Riverton, NJ for a $300.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Ms. Chaves was processed and released with a new court date.
