It is with a heavy heart the South Pasadena Police Department announces details for the media regarding the funeral services for Aramazd “Piqui” Andressian Jr.

Parking for the media will be available starting at 9:00 am on the 18th at the media staging location. Due to planned road closures in the area, the SPPD requests media approach media staging westbound on Oak St. from Fair Oaks Av. and enter the parking lot through the driveway on the north side of Oak St. just prior to Fremont Av. A cadet will be posted at the driveway to facilitate entry into the parking lot.
Sgt. Matthew Ronnie of the SPPD will be the PIO for this event and will hold a press briefing at 3:00 pm where he will provide further details regarding the services and parameters for coverage.

Case Background:
• Ana Estevez reported her ex-husband failed to exchange custody of their son, Aramazd Andressian Jr., to the San Marino Police Department on April 22nd, 2017.
• Aramazd Andressian Sr. was found unresponsive in Arroyo Park on April 22nd, 2017, and Aramazd Andressian Jr. was missing from his custody.
• A comprehensive search of Arroyo Park was launched involving 125 regional police officers and search & rescue personnel in an attempt to locate Aramazd Andressian Jr.
• The missing person case was referred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for assistance.
• A coordinated search effort consisting of 231 regional police officers was conducted in the Lake Cachuma area on June 10th, 2017, in an attempt to locate Aramazd Andressian Jr.
• On June 23rd, 2017, the case was filed for warrant by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
• On June 23rd, 2017, Andressian Sr. was arrested in Las Vegas.
• On Friday, June 30th, 2017, investigators from the LASD located remains believed to be Aramazd Andressian Jr. in the Lake Cachuma area.
