Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman that was discovered Friday, July 14, 2017, at approximately 11:11 P.M., in the 43200 block of Doverwood Court, Lancaster. 
 
Based on conflicting statements and evidence at the scene detectives have arrested 30 year-old male, White, William Hughes, booking number 5044078, and charged him with the murder of Lyndi Fisher, a 36 year-old White female.  He is being held in lieu of $2,000,000.00 bail.
 
The suspect lived at the family owned residence and was the only occupant living there. 
 
There is no additional information available at this time, and the investigation is on-going.

Updated Press Release is as Follows:

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a female that occurred on July 14, 2017, at approximately 11:11 p.m., in the 43200 block of Doverwood Ct, Lancaster.

Lancaster Station deputies responded to the 43200 block of Doverwood Court, Lancaster, regarding a medical emergency.  Upon their arrival, deputies contacted the resident who told them that a female victim was at his residence fixing an appliance. 
 
He briefly left the residence and upon returning, he saw that she was unresponsive on the floor. Deputies saw that the victim, a female White adult was suffering from blunt force trauma to the upper body.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspect is unknown at this time.  There is no additional information and the investigation is ongoing.
