* Until 645 PM MDT.
* At 514 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across northeast Albuquerque. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly. The heaviest rainfall is falling on
either side of Academy, east of Interstate 25. Area rain gages
have already reported 1 inch of rain in the last 20 minutes.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
