The Absecon Police Department will be hosting it's annual National Night Out event on Tuesday August 1st, 2017. The event will take place at Pitney Park, on the corner of Pitney Road and Crestview Avenue in Absecon from 6pm to 9pm.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Bring the family and enjoy free food and drinks, demonstrations by the Atlantic County Emergency Response Team, Forrest Fire Service, helicopter fly-bys and landings, police K-9 demos and more!
The kids can enjoy bounce houses and giveaways from the Absecon Police Department and local businesses! Also, try your luck in a raffle, with a chance to win an autographed photo of Philadelphia Eagles player Mychal Kendricks, an autographed Philadelphia Flyers hockey puck, gift cards to local restaurants and much more! All proceeds from the raffle will go towards our annual Holiday Shop With a Cop event in December!
