UPDATE:
Fruitport Police have made 2 arrests in relation to larcenies from vehicles which occurred late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. Within a few minutes of releasing video of the subjects attempting to enter a garage FPPD officers were contacted and both males were identified. Within 1 hour both suspects were in custody.

Fruitport Police request residents in the area of Brookmere St, Creekview Ln, Pinewood Ln, and Aspen Estates subdivision check their vehicles for missing property. Numerous vehicles and garages were entered where the thefts occurred. We would like to return recovered property to it's owners. Anyone noticing items missing, regardless of value, are asked to call the department at 231-865-8477.

The investigation is still ongoing and the suspects names are not being released until they are arraigned. We sincerely thank the help from the public.

Fruitport Police Department is requesting help in identifying persons of interest related to thefts from motor vehicles. Several residential areas in Fruitport Township were targeted late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. 2 subjects were captured by a security camera. Residents are urged to lock their vehicles and garages and to report suspicious subjects to 9-1-1 immediately.
