City Marshal Fernando Caballero,

I am pleased to announce that you have been selected as the Officer of the Third Quarter for this year.

The selection was based on numerous performance based metrics, lack of complaints or disciplinary action, documented positive attitude, and your positive and effective interaction with the community at large. Your furtherance of the Department mission and vision is demonstrated in your performance daily.

You were recognized by numerous supervisors for your attention to detail and specifically your consistent and impressive work ethic and your willingness to assist your teammates during our staffing shortages. Your willingness to work varied shifts, often back to back with short turn-around times, your assistance with training and your ability to maintain effective operations in the Marshal’s Office has been impressive.

While there were many candidates nominated for this selection; your activity level, consistency and performance in regards to the completion of your duties was exemplary. The continued professionalism demonstrated by you in the completion of your assignments stood out amongst your peers and is recognized by the supervisors and administrative staff that selected you to receive this award.

Other nominees that were considered for the Officer of the Quarter are Officer Fitzgerald and Officer Determan. They are to be commended for their accomplishments, their work ethic and demonstrated positive actions as well.

Your selection was based on multiple supervisor submissions of your performance and you are to be commended for your efforts and the example you set for the Red Oak Police Department. This should serve as a confirmation of your commitment to excellence in the law enforcement profession.

This recognition qualifies you for consideration for the Officer of the Year Award to be presented later this year.
