The Lake Lure Police Department along with the Lake Lure Fire Department, Chimney Rock State Park Rangers and numerous other departments were notified of a missing hiker 7/30/2017 at approximately 5 p.m.
Edward (Eddie) Richburg, a white male, 34 years of age, 220 pounds and 5ft 11 inches tall, dark hair, hazel eyes was last seen at 8 a.m. 7/30/2017 wearing white basketball shorts, no shirt, no shoes. Mr. Richburg is wanted out of South Carolina and is considered armed and dangerous.
