The Torrance Police Department presents the Partners in Policing (PIP) class starting September 7^th, 2017.  PIP offers community members the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of a Torrance Police Officer and the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of your police department. Participants will hear from a wide variety of details within the Torrance Police Department, including K-9, Forensics, Traffic, SWAT and many others.

The program consists of 12 sessions, meeting every Thursday night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Torrance Police Station beginning Thursday, September 7^th and concluding on Thursday, November 30^th, 2017.

PIP class is open to all those who reside or work in Torrance, and anyone else who has an affiliation with the City (i.e.; student in Torrance, member of a church in Torrance, member of a civic organization based in Torrance such as Kiwanis, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, etc). Participants must be 18 or older.
