.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide investigators announced earlier in the month, that a capital murder charge had been filed in connection with the February death of Glenser Soliman, 44.
Investigators charged Brandon Lyons with that murder. .
Mr. Soliman, was reported missing on Feb. 18 when he did not show up for work at St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston. His vehicle was missing.
Investigators later discovered Mr. Soliman's vehicle in the Spring area. A week after he was reported missing, Mr. Soliman's body was found in a wooded area near 2800 Hirschfield Road in Spring.
Mr. Lyons was initially charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle for taking Mr. Soliman's vehicle. He has been in the Harris County Jail since April. Sheriff's investigators developed evidence linking Mr. Lyons to the murder.
Investigators are also attempting to determine whether this case is linked to the April disappearance of An Vinh Nguyen, a 26-year-old Univesity of Houston student. Mr. Nguyen's vehicle was also found in the Spring area, not far from where Mr. Soliman's vehicle was found in February. Mr. Nguyen remains missing.
Investigators have found evidence linking Mr. Nguyen to a cousin of Mr. Lyons named Jerrett Jamal Allen, 26. Mr. Allen has been charged with unlawfully using Mr. Nguyen's credit cards.
Investigators believe that both victims in these cases were lured by the suspects using social media.
