07/02/17 *Suspicious Situation
Harbor Cove - Messages posted regarding Dogs….Initial investigation revealed no threats to resident – dogs only visiting – no further issue reported– no suspects, no witnesses
07/03/17 *Malicious Destruction of Property
1200 Block of E. Five Mile Rd – Property owners reported that over a period of months someone had entered their property and caused damage to trailer – unknown dates, suspects and no witnesses –
07/04/17 *Arrest - Outstanding Warrant & Possession of Marijuana
Shady Beach & 6 Mile Rd - Traffic Violation Stop resulted in discovery of Outstanding Warrant and Marijuana – driver arrested for both
07/05/17 *Malicious Destruction to Property
1000 Block of Six Mile Rd – Links at Whitmore – between 10 pm -7 am suspects damaged property on the course – No suspects, No witnesses
07/06/17 *Identity Theft
8900 Block of Sunflower Dr -- Victims name was used to receive Directv services - police report and contact to Directv made victim’s credit whole – Victim provided with Federal Trade Commission complaint Information

9100 Block of Walnut Dr. – Tires slashed between 11:30 pm & 9 am Investigation continues

West St & Margaret --- Crash report taken, no evidence left at the scene, driver of striking vehicle unidentified

Grove St –flattened tires and fireworks on property, known suspect – no prosecution desired
07/11/17 *Arrest – Drive While License Suspended
Main & Westbrook – Traffic Violation Stop revealed driver of vehicle had suspended license – driver arrested – forwarded to Prosecutor for review

Jay R St - Homeowner requested a known subject be advised of trespass on her land– Officer located and issued a Trespass notice to subject
07/12/17 *Arrest – Fugitive Warrant
Emerald Circle – Officer recognized wanted subject – Subject arrested for outstanding Misdemeanor driving warrants
07/14/17 *Arrest – Drive While License Suspended
Earhart & N. Territorial – Traffic Violation Stop revealed driver of vehicle had suspended license – driver arrested – forwarded to Prosecutor for review
07/15/17 *Malicious Destruction of Property
8100 Block of Rushton – between the hours of 10 am & 3:15 pm someone broke victim’s rural mailbox & post - no evidence, witnesses or suspects
07/18/17 * Fraudulent Check
9500 Block of Main St – Fraudulent Check used to make purchase at local business – Suspect identified & investigation continues
07/20/17 *Trespass Notice
6900 Block of Whitmore Lake Rd – Business requested trespass warning given to subject, subject identified and issued notice not to return to property
07/22/17 *B&E Unoccupied Dwelling
Investigation led to subject being identified, no criminal intent was determined, case cleared with exceptional clearance/no charges

8200 Block of Rushton- Homeowner requested a known subject be advised of trespass on her land– Officer issued a Trespass notice to subject

8400 Block of Kearney - neighbor witnessed and aided officers with information, investigation led to identity of suspect, ticket issued for illegal dumping

9500 Block of Spencer. – Large disposal of carpeting found on property –no witnesses, evidence or suspects – anyone with information is encouraged to contact Northfield Twp Police

Emerald Circle – Officer assisting other departments, identified and arrested subject on outstanding warrants
07/28/17 *Arrest – Outstanding Warrant
23 & Barker - Traffic Violation stop resulted in discovery of Outstanding Warrant– driver arrested
07/29/17 *B&E Business
900 Block of E. N. Territorial company vehicles broken into and tools stolen, evidence collected and investigation continues
07/30/17 *ID Credit Card Fraud
9300 Sandpoint – Victim reported she was a twice a victim of credit card fraud – after receiving a new credit card – Victim discovered more unauthorized charges on the new account – investigation continues
Officers also responded to several vehicle crashes and a watercraft crash – investigations suggest alcohol may have played a role in some of these crashes which are awaiting lab results, before submitting charges to the prosecutor
Northfield Twp Police remind all community members to be diligent in monitoring their credit / debit card transactions which can limit credit card fraud
