Sargeant Mike Harding from the Tactics and Survival Unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department conducted Active Shooter training at South El Monte High School. Earlier this year, South El Monte's Principal Dr. Amy Avina invited the Sheriff's Department to conduct a law enforcement training day at the high school. Today's training is a continuation of ongoing training between South El Monte High School and Temple Sheriff's Station. Capt David Flores is committed to the safety and security of all students, staff and visitors to South El Monte High School.
