Advisory

Glenshire Fire Update. Thank you to all the witnesses that reported information to fire investigators.

The Glenshire fire burned under an acre a few weeks ago just South of the Glenshire subdivision.  Many witnesses reported valuable information that has helped investigators.  Currently CAL FIRE is the lead investigation agency on the fire.

"See something, say something is a good rule of thumb," says Fire Marshal Craig Harvey.  "Often we are able to put together various pieces of information, that may not seem important at the time, to determine the cause of fires.

This is an active investigation so we can't talk about specifics, but the information we received was very helpful," said Harvey.

This should be a reminder to all of us that we are in the middle of Fire season, August, September and October being the most active months in our area.  Cut the tall grass around your house, have enough garden hose to reach around your house and be really careful with campfires, making sure they are dead out and cold to the touch.
