East Avenue is undergoing sewer and water replacement and street reconstruction.
Wednesday, 08-16-2017 through Friday, 08-18-2017 curb lawn tree removal will take place. Emergency vehicles will be permitted through the construction zone, but expect delays.
Beginning on Monday, 08-21-2017 the water and sewer installation will take place in the intersection of East Avenue and 4th Street. This project will close the intersection for approximately 5 days until Friday, August 25, 2017. Pedestrians will be able to cross East Avenue on the north side of this intersection. There will be no pass through traffic, through this construction zone.
Detours have been posted with 16th Street, Middle Avenue and Broad Street being the detour route.
