• Periods of showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue today across all of northern Michigan.
• A few storms this afternoon may become severe, primarily south of M-32 and east of US-131 with the greatest threat near Saginaw Bay.
• The main threats from any severe thunderstorms include briefly heavy rain, lightning, gusty winds greater than 60 mph, and an isolated tornado.
