(Etowah County, Alabama) A Horton man was arrested in connection to theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Shawn Oneal Gaskin, 40, of Horton, was charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of third degree theft of property, both are felonies,” investigator Adam Chapman said.

Gaskin allegedly stole a Stihl MS311 chain saw and pawned it at a local store. The chain saw has been recovered and returned to the rightful owner.

Gaskin was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $4,000 bond.
