Traffic to be Impacted for Purple Heart Outdoors Tour Ride
Tonight (8/17), the Pleasanton Police Department along with several other public safety agencies, will be honoring five Special Forces soldiers in the Purple Heart Outdoor Tour ride. This ride includes a motorcade-type escort through the city of Pleasanton during a time that traffic is heavy.
Please be aware that from around 6-6:30 p.m. the procession will require rolling, temporary road closures along the following streets:
- Southbound Valley Ave from Koll Center to Bernal Ave
- Eastbound Bernal Ave to Northbound Main St
- Northbound Main St to Eastbound Old Stanley
- Eastbound Old Stanley to Eastbound First St
- Eastbound First St/Stanley Blvd into Livermore
Map of route is attached. Those wishing to view or support the procession are welcome along the motorcade route. Please choose a safe place to view from.
