Today, Monday, August 21st, 2017 at 07:00am the intersection of East Avenue and 4th Street will be closed this week to all traffic.
The East Avenue Sewer Relief Project begins today. This project involves the installation of new water main, relief sewer, stormwater bumpouts and the resurfacing of East Avenue between 4th and 16th Streets.
Again, this construction project will completely close East Avenue and 4th Street intersection to traffic day and night this week. This project will then proceed south on East Avenue from 4th Street.
Detour route is Middle Avenue using 16th Street and Broad Street.
