Sebastopol Police Department will host the Sonoma County CITE program tomorrow morning between 7am and 11am.

The CITE program, Combined Intensive Traffic Enforcement, is comprised of traffic motorcycle officers from various Sonoma County law enforcement agencies whose goal is to improve traffic safety in the host community.

Officers from the California Highway Patrol and Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety will join Sebastopol Police Department in enforcing traffic laws on the roadways around our schools and in other reported problem areas, both inside city limits and just outside city limits.

Officers will be focusing on dangerous violations such as speeding, red light and stop sign violations, failure to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks, seatbelt violations and driving while operating cell phones.
