Due to recent thefts in nearby communities, the Ogden Dunes Police Department would like to remind residents to lock their houses, shut garage doors and to lock vehicles. Many vehicle burglaries and thefts begin with a door that was left unlocked. Also, do not leave valuable items or keys in the vehicle. If you must leave valuable items in the vehicle, be sure they are out of sight and that the doors are locked.
Please immediately report any suspicious activity to the Ogden Dunes Police Department by contacting us at either 911 (Emergency) or 219-762-4125 (Non-Emergency.)
Additionally, if you are leaving town vacation house check forms are available at the Ogden Dunes Police Station located at 115 Hillcrest Road. Clerk hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Saturday 8:00AM – Noon.
