If you live in an area that is flooded, and NOT in danger, refrain from calling 911, please only call 911 for life safety issues, not if your home is surrounded by water.
The non-emergency number for the Sheriffs Dept. is 936-336-4500 and if you have questions this is the number to call.
We are working to staff shelters in the area and will update when this is accomplished.
