The City of Elyria Water Distribution Department will have a scheduled shutdown of the water main serving homes on the following streets in the Lake Ave area at 7PM Tuesday Aug. 29th 2017 for approximately 8 hours.
Lake Ave. from 814 to 1831
Clinton Ave. from 110 to 223
Walnut St. from 820 to 852
High St. from 109 to 159
All of Samuel St.
All of Edison Ct.
All of Emerson Ct.
All of Laura Ct.
All of Jean Ct.
All of Persons Ct.
As a precaution we are asking that residents on these streets boil their water for drinking and cooking purposes.
According to the CDC (Center for Disease Control) All water used for drinking, cooking and oral hygiene should be brought to a full boil for a minimum of one minute.
The water does not have to be boiled for bathing or laundry reasons.
The advisory will be lifted @11AM Friday Sept. 1st 2017.
