HARVEY UPDATE
The Marion & Ed Hughes Library, Nederland Municipal Court and Nederland Recreation Center are closed from 12PM on August 29th until 12PM on Wednesday, August 30th. Utility bill payments will not be accepted at City Hall until 12PM on Wednesday, August 30th.
Currently, street flooding is occurring and is likely going to continue. DO NOT DRIVE DOWN FLOODED STREETS. Wave action created by vehicles driving down flooded streets can result in greater property damage.
At this time, we do not have an update on when Garbage Service will resume. The landfill the City utilizes is closed due to the heavy rain. Please stay tuned for updates.
