South Bay Rapid overnight work scheduled tonight and tomorrow along East Palomar Street in Chula Vista. 
As part of the South Bay Rapid project, periodic lane closures, noise, and overnight work along East Palomar Street between Santa Rosa Drive and Heritage Road is scheduled for August 29 and 30. Work will include lane restriping and traffic signal upgrades.
Motorists can expect delays along East Palomar Street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nearby residents can expect intermittent noise and lights overnight between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
