Officers responded to an injury collision involving a vehicle and a power pole. The driver was transported to a local medical facility for treatment. Utility crews repaired the pole.

Officers responded to a non-injury collision. A vehicle was stopped in the left turn pocket and was rear ended by another vehicle.

Arrest: 24 year old female, resident of Denair; 23 year old male, resident of Denair

Charges: Possession of methamphetamine, under the influence of a controlled substance

Officers located a suspicious vehicle and determined that the driver was in possession of methamphetamine. Additionally, the passenger was determined to be under the influence. The driver was cited and released. The passenger was transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 28 year old male, resident of Los Gatos

Charges: Outstanding warrants, possession of controlled substance

Officers located a suspicious vehicle and determined that the occupant had an outstanding warrant. He was also found to be in possession of heroin and hypodermic needles. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Cross/Johnson

Officers responded to a report of a hit and run. The victim provided suspect information and it was determined that the suspect vehicle had been previously reported stolen to the San Jose Police Department. The suspect abandoned the truck, and the truck was returned to its owner.

Arrest: 34 year old male, resident of San Jose

Charges: DUI

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined that the driver exhibited the objective signs of alcohol intoxication. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Lark/Highway 17

Arrest: 43 year old male, resident of San Jose

Charges: Possession of controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, outstanding warrant

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined that the driver was on searchable probation. A search yielded methamphetamine, psilocybin, and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Oak Meadow Park

Officers responded to an auto burglary. Unknown suspect(s) smashed the front window of the vehicle and removed personal items.

Highway 9/N. Santa Cruz

Officers responded to hit and run collision. Upon their arrival, officers located the victim vehicle facing the wrong way in traffic. Several witnesses provided additional information, including the license plate of the suspect vehicle. A short time later, the suspect vehicle was located at the Cats Restaurant and towed. At approximately 0637 hours, the registered owner attempted to file a report that the vehicle had been stolen. Further investigation determined that the registered owner had been driving under the influence when involved in the collision and had fled. Follow-up is being conducted.

Arrest: male juvenile

Charges: Vandalism, resisting arrest

Officers responded to a municipal parking lot on the report that two subjects were gaining access to a building rooftop by jumping on a dumpster. Upon their arrival, officers heard a commotion and observed a subject running on the hoods of multiple vehicles. After a brief struggle, the subject was taken into custody. Follow-up is being conducted.
