Good Thursday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Wednesday, 8/30/2017.

-3900 blk Alaska Rd, Levelland: Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a residence related to a possible intoxicated subject causing a disturbance in his home. Deputies contacted the individual, and no offenses were reported.

-800 blk Hwy 385, Levelland: Illegal Dumping. A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the area related to a female subject dumping trash at his residence. A license plate number was recorded by the caller, and the investigation into the activity is ongoing.

-US 62/82 at FM 41, Ropesville: Traffic Complaint. A deputy responded to the area regarding a reckless driver traveling north along the highway. The area was searched, but the vehicle was not located.

-500 blk Travis, Levelland: Noise Complaint. Deputies responded to a noise complaint in the area. A caller advised someone had a “loud engine” near the residence. The area was checked and no one was located. There were no other calls to the area related to the issue.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in the county, civil process service, investigative follow-up activities, and collected donated items for local storm relief efforts.
