Mid-County Central Dispatch Center is being inundated with calls regarding various rumors regarding Tropical Storm Harvey and its aftermath.
As of this time the cities of Nederland, Port Neches and Groves have NO INTENTION of disrupting water service in any way.
There is absolutely no indication that any Neches River flood waters will affect Nederland.
If you have any questions please do not call the dispatch center and tie up the 911 lines.
Only call 911 if you have an actual emergency.
