The Solana Beach company donated 700 blankets to the North Coastal Sheriff's Station on Thursday, August 31st. These blankets will be distributed to Sheriff's patrol stations and substations across the county.
Deputies will keep the blankets in the trunk of their patrol cars and use them to give children a bit of comfort during a time of distress. Children are often shaken, confused and hurting during calls regarding a domestic violence, fire or child endangerement cases involving abuse or drugs.
The blankets will also provide warmth to somebody in need following a car crash or car troubles, as well as other victims of crime.
