National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for our area through tomorrow, Saturday, September 2, 2017. Periods of heavy rain will dominate the the forecast throughout today. Roadways will remain wet and standing water is likely. Caution should be used when driving anywhere in the area. Do not attempt to drive through rain covered roadways. REMEMBER TURN AROUND.... DO NOT DROWN. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO ACTIVATE YOUR PERSONAL EMERGENCY PLAN AND BE VIGILANT TO THE REAL POSSIBILITY OF FLASH FLOODING IN LOW LINE AREAS WITH WATER ENTERING INTO SOME BASEMENTS. REMEMBER TO CALL 911 IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY.
