Important information from the City of Port Neches regarding, household garbage pickup, storm debris removal, etc. 
1.) Sanitation schedule
a. We will begin collection today Friday’s route will be collect today; Monday’s route will be picked up Saturday; we will begin regular collection on Monday (This is Labor day but we will be working)
b. Our emergency debris contract has been activated and collection will be begin next week, more information will be provided early next week.
2.) NO interruptions to water operations is expected
3.) NO evacuation is called for.
4.) NO electrical interruption is expected.
5.) Only minimal effects from flooding is expected from rising of the Neches River. At this time only Port Neches River Front park is experiencing any effects ( This is only in the Parking Lot at the River)
6.) Please DO NOT believe all the Social Media Rumors that are at out there, consider the source. The CITY will inform our citizens and News media should conditions change.
