The 44th annual Woodway Public Safety Association annual BBQ is Saturday, September 16th from 11am-7pm. We will have Vitek's BBQ(including the Gut Paks). Come inside for plenty of food, prizes, bake sale, and kids activities including the jump house, free snow cones, etc. Or if you are in a hurry, we have a very popular drive-thru just off Estates Drive. The event will be at 325 Estates Dr at Woodway Elementary as it has been for the past recent years.

This year we are raffling off a new Ruger AR-15 rifle. Only 500 tickets are being sold, and the price is $5 per chance or five chances for $20. You do not have to be present to win the raffle and the drawing will be held at 6pm on that Saturday. Raffle tickets can be purchased now at the fire-station at 920 Estates Drive between the hours of 8-5, m-f.

All proceeds go towards the programs and equipment provided by the Woodway Public Safety Association. This has included scholarships, youth events, area support for injured/fallen officers, school support, community support projects, and fire equipment in the past. Currently the association is raising funds to go towards the city's new purchase to replace an aging firetruck. The association has committed to donating $45000 over the next 3 years towards that purchase, so we would really like to serve 2000 plates this year. Your attendance is greatly appreciated.
