Beginning on Thursday, September 14, 2017 through Sunday, September 17, 2017 there will be street closures in Downtown Elyria to accommodate the 2017 Elyria Apple Festival.
Beginning at 04:00am Thursday, September 14, 2016, Middle Avenue from Broad Street to Third Street, 2nd Street from East Avenue to West Avenue and Court Street from Broad Street to 2nd Street will be closed to all traffic. On-street parking on those closed streets will be prohibited. The City Hall parking lot on 2nd Street will also be closed.
On Sunday, September 17th, 2017 from 4:00am until 4:00pm, Broad Street will be closed for the annual Car Show from East Avenue to West Avenue to traffic, and parking will be prohibited.
On Sunday, September 17th, 2017 from 7:00am until 10:00am the Elyria Parks & Rec Department will have its annual 5K Run through Elywood Park. Expect temporary street closures closure at Washington Avenue & Ohio Street, St. Clair Street & Ohio Street and Glenwood Street & Ohio Street during the run.
