Good Tuesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Friday, 9/8/17, through Monday, 9/11/17.

9/8/17

-Hwy 114 at FM 2646, Levelland: Loose Livestock. Deputies were dispatched to locate loose cattle in the area. The area was searched and no cattle were observed outside of penned areas.

-100 blk House St, Levelland, Assist Agency. Deputies assisted Sundown PD with a warrant service at a residence in the area. One individual was taken into custody by Sundown PD.

-700 blk Koala Rd, Levelland: Burglary. A deputy responded to a residence in reference to a reported burglary offense. During the investigation the complainants advised they did not want criminal charges filed. Information was collected, but no offense was reported.

-1310 Avenue H, LEC: Warrant Service. A deputy responded to the jail to serve an arrest warrant. The individual was taken into custody and booked into the jail without incident.

-2300 blk E. Ellis, Levelland: Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence. One of the parties was gone prior to arrival of deputies. Information was collected for a report. The complainant reported no offenses occurred.

9/9/2017

-300 blk 8th St, Anton: Missing Juvenile. A deputy responded to a residence regarding a possible missing juvenile. The complainant stated she had been attempting to call the juvenile but had no contact. The juvenile was located at her residence.

-3200 blk FM 2646, Levelland: Warrant Service. Deputies contacted an individual related to an active felony warrant. The individual was taken into custody and transported to the jail without incident.

-FM 303 at Hwy 114, Levelland: Assist EMS. A deputy responded to the area regarding a child that was being transported by private vehicle to Lubbock to the hospital. The deputy contacted EMS and the child was later transported by ambulance to Lubbock.

-Hwy 114 at Veretto Rd, Levelland: Suspicious Activity. Deputies contacted several individuals reportedly walking in the area. The individuals were identified and released from the scene.

-3500 blk Hwy 385, Levelland: Alarm. Deputies responded to an alarm call at a residence in the area. The alarm activation was accidental. No offenses were reported.

9/10/2017

-6100 blk Cactus, Smyer: Noise Complaint. Deputies responded to the area after receiving a noise complaint. The area was searched and no vehicles or persons were located.

9/11/2017

-800 blk Hwy 385, Levelland: Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the area. The complainants advised two females were engaged in a mutual altercation. A report was completed and parties were separated.

-Hwy 84 at FM 2130, Anton: Vehicle Crash. A deputy was dispatched to the area to attempt to locate an individual threatening to intentionally crash a vehicle. The crash was located inside Lubbock County. The scene was worked by Lubbock County personnel.

-6500 blk Kansas Rd, Anton: Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the area. A female was transported by EMS to Lubbock for a medical issue. Information for a report was taken and the matter is under investigation.

-3700 blk Kildee Rd, Ropesville: Civil Issue. A deputy was dispatched to a residence regarding ownership of a metal building. No offenses were reported and civil remedies were advised to the owner.

Deputies also competed close patrols/vacation watches, investigative follow-up activities, patrols in areas of the county, and civil process service.
