Chemical Endangerment
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Ohatchee woman has been arrested in connection to chemical endangerment of a child, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Haley Michelle Fischetti, 27, of Ohatchee, was arrested on September 6th, and is charged with one count of chemical endangerment of a child, which is a felony,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.
Fischetti was initially arrested on traffic charges by a local law enforcement agency. When arrested, she advised the officers that she is six months pregnant and has used heroin. Knowing she was pregnant, she admitted to an investigator about her use of heroin, methamphetamine, Norco, Roxy, and Suboxine. Fischetti tested positive for Suboxine, amphetamine and methamphetamine.
She is detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond for the chemical endangerment warrant. As a condition of her bond, she must successfully complete a drug treatment program and will be supervised by Etowah Community Corrections upon release.
Fischetti also faces charges from the Sardis Police Department and a hold has been placed against her for Jefferson County.
