Do you recognize the woman in this surveillance photo? Someone out there knows her. She is wanted in connection with a string of thefts and using someone else's identity to commit those crimes.
This surveillance video was taken from a Home Goods store in the 13000 block of Poway Road in Poway on July 28th just before 2:00 p.m. The woman took bedding supplies from the store shelf and proceeded to the return desk where she received more than $100 in store credit. During the transaction, the woman provided a driver license stolen from another woman in January of this year.
She has used the same tactic at various San Diego area Home Goods stores since June of this year racking up more than $4,000 in stolen merchandise for gift cards. She has used the same stolen driver license for each transaction.
The woman went to the Home Goods store in Poway with two young boys and was last seen wearing a red or burgundy tank top, shorts and sandals.
If you recognize this woman, her clothing, demeanor or the two young boys with her, you are urged to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. You could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
