Two East Orange Men Arrested for Sexual Assault
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski and Frenchtown Borough Police Chief Al Kurylka announced that a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Frenchtown Borough Police Department has led to the arrest of two individuals on sexual assault charges.
On September 7, 2017, Junior A. Desir, age 25, of East Orange, NJ, was arrested and charged with one count of 2nd degree Sexual Assault and one count of 3rd degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. On September 14, 2017, David Dorelas, age 22, of East Orange, NJ, was arrested and charged with one count of 2nd degree Sexual Assault and one count of 3rd degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
An investigation by detectives from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Frenchtown Borough Police Department revealed that Mr. Desir and Mr. engaged in sexual relations with a child who was at least 13 but less than 16 years of age.
