This evening at approximately 9:00pm, the Campbell Police Department received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the carports at 325 Union Avenue. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive female being given CPR by bystanders. The female was transported to Valley Medical Center where she is currently being treated for major injuries.
While we are still in the beginning stages of the investigation, it appears to be a tragic accident. At this time, it looks as if the female’s car continued traveling forward as she began getting out. We believe this resulted in her being pinned against her car.
