Deputies Arrest 2 Suspects for Transportation of Controlled Substance for Sales and Possession of Narcotics.

INCIDENT: Transportation of Controlled Substance for Sales and Possession of Narcotics.
LOCATION: Mountain View Road and Sunset Road, Harvard
SUSPECT(S): Ashley Mensching, 31 years old and Gerado Flores-Gonzales, 55 years old, residents of Las Vegas.
VICTIM(S):
SUMMARY: On September 22, 2017, at about 11:10 am, Deputy Mamon was in the area of Mountain View Road and Sunset Road in Harvard when he saw a vehicle parked in the desert with two occupants sitting inside. Deputy Mamon contacted the occupants who were identified as Ashley Mensching and Gerado Flores-Gonzales. Deputies conducted an investigation based on the inconsistent statements given by the occupants. During the investigation, deputies located approximately 22 grams of Methamphetamine, 10 grams of Heroin, four syringes containing suspected Heroin and about $800.00 cash. Both occupants were arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center where they were booked for transportation of a controlled substance for sales and possession of narcotics.
