An alert homeowner called 911 after he discovered an individual inside his vehicle on the night of 9/24/2017. The homeowner gave a description of the suspect vehicle and a be on the lookout message (BOLO) was issued by responding sheriff’s deputies. A Pulaski Police Officer stopped a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle in the city. A deputy met with that officer and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, Giles County Investigators were called out and three juveniles have been taken into custody in relation to several residential and automobile burglaries. Several guns have been recovered and the case is still under investigation at this time. There may be more charges and or more cases involved. Sheriff Helton said this a great example of citizens and law enforcement agencies working together to combat crime in Giles County.
