Good Tuesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Monday, 9/25/17.

-Hwy 114 at Hummingbird Rd, Levelland: Vehicle Crash. A deputy responded to a reported single vehicle crash in the area. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers. Deputies provided assistance at the scene.

-2400 blk Cardinal Ln, Levelland: Theft. A deputy was dispatched to a theft that was reported to have occurred over the previous week. Information for a report was collected and the matter is under investigation.

-500 blk N. FM 1490, Levelland: Welfare Check. A deputy was dispatched to attempt to make contact with individuals at a residence in the area. No one was at the residence, and information was passed on to deputies to follow up at a later time.

-6800 blk E Hwy 114, Smyer: Welfare Check. A deputy was dispatched to a residence to check the status of a juvenile. The juvenile was located with a parent and the information was relayed to the caller.

-6800 blk E Hwy 114, Smyer: Civil Issue. A deputy responded to a call about a civil matter over child custody at a residence. Civil remedies were advised to all parties. No court documents were presented to deputies by the parties.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in areas of the county, civil process service, and investigative follow-up activities.
