This Thursday, September 28 a film crew from the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) will be in town filming Lansdale Police for a video to showcase LPD at their national convention later this year. Lansdale Police were selected to be featured based on the collaborative efforts among the department, County agencies, the public and other Borough departments and we are honored to be selected for this recognition.

As part of this video, the County Field COMM Unit will show a demonstration with various pieces of equipment available. THIS IS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY, there is no event necessitating the equipment that will be in town. If you see equipment and action in the area of Madison Street, the SEPTA Main Street Station and Railroad Plaza it is for filming purposes only and there is no need for concern.
