Traffic Delays 
Due to a very serious accident on I-80, traffic is extremely heavy on U.S. Route 6, I-55, and I-80 in the Channahon area. Also, Route 52 in Shorewood has delays.
Please avoid these areas if possible.
It is anticipated traffic will be back to normal early this evening.
