PUBLIC NOTICE –
HARVEY DEBRIS CLEAN-UP FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES


September 27, 2017

FEMA has approved a variance allowing the City to pick-up the Harvey debris from local businesses and receive FEMA reimbursement; however, the variance allows the City to only COMPLETE ONE PASS to collect the debris. The debris clean-up for local businesses will begin on Friday, September 29th. All Harvey-related debris should be placed by the curb or in the City’s right-of-way by this date. The same sorting of debris piles must be followed:
• GREEN WASTE (limbs, branches, etc.)
• CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS (drywall, carpet furniture)
• ELECTRONICS and APPLIANCES
• HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS MATERIALS.
Following the removal of debris, no additional debris should be placed in the right-of-way. If you have any questions, please call the City Manager’s Office at 723-1503.
